Security Blue Team Partners with Cyberjutsu: 10 Free BTL1 Vouchers for Students

We’re excited to share that we have partnered with the Women’s Society of Cyberjutsu, a non-profit dedicated to advancing women and girls in cybersecurity. We've kicked off this partnership by giving away 10 free BTL1 vouchers to their students. It’s a chance to support their community as they build key practical skills to get their start in the industry, and we’re glad to be part of it.

About the Women’s Society of Cyberjutsu

Founded in 2012 and based in Arlington, Virginia, the Women’s Society of Cyberjutsu is all about closing the gender gap in cybersecurity. The term “Cyberjutsu” draws from martial arts, suggesting a strategic, skilled approach to mastering cyber challenges – think precision and expertise in the digital space. Their mission centres on empowering women and girls through hands-on training, networking opportunities, mentorship, and valuable resources.

One of their key efforts is the Cyberjutsu Girls Academy, a program that introduces middle and high school girls to STEM and cybersecurity. Through practical workshops, the program is designed to spark interest and build confidence in a field that needs more diverse talent. It’s the kind of initiative that makes a real difference.

What This Partnership Means

At SBT, we’re committed to helping grow the next generation of cybersecurity professionals, and teaming up with Cyberjutsu aligns perfectly with that goal. They’re doing great things to support women in the industry, and we’re happy to contribute. The 10 BTL1 vouchers are our way of giving their students a boost. For those unfamiliar, BTL1 is our junior blue team certification, a practical, hands-on course that builds real-world skills for detecting and stopping cyber threats. It’s a solid starting point for anyone looking to break into the field.

We see this as a chance to help Cyberjutsu students take their next step, and it’s a privilege to play a role in their journey. Partnerships like this are about more than just vouchers, they’re about building a stronger, more inclusive cybersecurity community together.

Looking Ahead

This is just the beginning of our collaboration with Cyberjutsu, and we’re looking forward to seeing how their students put these BTL1 vouchers to use. Want to dig deeper into what Cyberjutsu’s all about? Check out their website to learn more about their programs, get involved, or even become a member, it’s a great way to support their mission and see what they’re building.

For us at SBT, it’s business as usual: creating training that’s tough, practical, and ready for today’s challenges. A big thanks to the Cyberjutsu team for joining forces with us, and to our own team for always delivering.
