We’re delighted to announce exciting new partnerships with two fantastic organizations. This is part of our mission to give back to the community and support people at all stages of their cybersecurity training and career development. It's an honor to help make cybersecurity training more accessible.
CyberSafe Foundation’s ‘CyberGirls’ initiative
We're thrilled to work with CyberGirls, Africa's largest cybersecurity training and mentoring program for women. We're providing access to our BTL1 course materials, to help 100 women get Blue Team Level 1 certified.
Confidence Staveley, founder of CyberSafe Foundation, says:
“We are excited to announce our partnership with Security Blue Team, to ensure our fellows on the incident response track get real-world, applicable skills and knowledge across 5 domains. This partnership will give our fellows unfettered access to Security Blue Team’s Blue Team Level 1 (BTL1) training and certification exam.
Thank you to Josh Beaman and your team for believing in our vision and closing out this partnership with us, in record time!”
Cyberworkplace
We’ve just launched a training partnership with Cyberworkplace. This fantastic organization will be teaching our BTL1 certification to a class of Ukrainian refugees, with the aim of helping them to break into the world of cybersecurity. To support this, we’ve given them free access to the certification materials, so that their students can kick-start their career in cybersecurity.
The classes are being taught by volunteer teacher and security analyst, Wouter van den Bergh, who has used the BTL1 extensively in his professional life so far. Wouter is such an advocate for our training that he’s made it mandatory for the teams he’s managed! You can read why he believes BTL1 should be a requirement for new hires in our interview with him.
